Time to build your space world!

1. Add 3 backgrounds:

   • Start screen
   • Game screen
   • Game Over screen

2. Add your heroes:

   • Alien (that's you!)
   • Dragon (the enemy!)

🎵 Step 3: Make Your Stage Smart

Let's program your stage!

1. Find "on start" block
2. Add "switch to background"
3. Pick instruction background
4. Add music that plays forever!

🔘 Step 4: Create Play Button

Make a button to start!

1. Add new actor (play button)
2. Use "go to x: y:" to place it
3. Program it:
   • When clicked -> hide button
   • Broadcast "play" message

👽 Step 5: Set Up Your Alien

Position your hero!

1. Click on alien actor
2. Add "on start" block
3. Use "go to x: y:"
4. Pick starting spot!

🎮 Step 6: Make Alien Move!

Add arrow key controls!

1. Add "when I receive play"
2. Show your alien
3. Add "forever" loop
4. Inside forever add:
   • If up arrow -> move up
   • If down arrow -> move down

Use "change y by" blocks to move up and down!

1. Click dragon actor
2. Hide dragon at start
3. Add "forever" loop
4. Inside add "animate"

When game starts:

• Show dragon
• Make it fly across!

💥 Step 8: Add Collision Detection

Make crashes end the game!

1. Add "when...occurs" block
2. Set to "touching alien"
3. When they touch:
   • Hide dragon
   • Stop music
   • Show Game Over

1. Click green flag
2. Press play button
3. Use arrows to dodge!
4. Don't hit the dragon!
