How are online classes conducted in Telebort?



Join Class Orientation

Students will start by attending an orientation class to get to know their facilitators and peers.



Attend Class Sessions

Students will join class sessions with their instructor and peers. The instructor will give lectures and carry out fun activities.

Telebort's Computer Science programs are designed with STEAM education for school children to express their own ideas in designing their own stories, mobile apps, websites and many more.


Are there recognition papers such as certificates or transcripts given?

  • After fully completing each individual program, students will obtain a Telebort certificate of completion and an academic transcript of said program.
  • The certificate will be obtainable digitally and can also request to be verified by our system for authenticity.

What's the schedule?

  • Cohort classes are usually conducted every Saturday and Sunday except on public holidays. For both Saturday and Sunday, there are 3-time slots (10 AM โ€“ 12 PM, 2 PM โ€“ 4 PM, 5 PM โ€“ 7 PM), each class with 2 hours per time slot depending on the programโ€™s availability.
  • Small Groups and 1-on-1 classes have a slightly different days and time slots as they only are conducted onย Wednesday, Thursday & Friday, except on public holidays. Duration are 2 hours per lesson with flexible time slots.

How will the online classes be conducted?

  • Live classes are conducted using ZOOM. Students will be able to engage with the teachers and other students. All will be given a chance to speak, ask and work on projects and exercises.
  • ZOOM links will be accessible from their Telebort student dashboard.

What do I need to prepare for the programs?

  • A computer is necessary for all programs, preferably a laptop for convenience as it already comes with a keyboard, trackpad, and most importantly a webcam which students are encouraged to turn on during online classes.
  • A good internet connection is a priority as the majority of classes are conducted online.
  • Depending on the program, you may be required to register different software platforms and online accounts, all which will be guided by our respective instructors.

My kids are 10 and 12 years old this year, are both of them suitable to join Telebort classes?

  • Yes, absolutely! We have students ranging from age 8 to 19 years old learning how to write their own software programs, build mobile apps and deploy websites. Your kids will be in good hands.
