National AI Competition 2026
The nation's largest AI competition for youths is back! Brought to you by Sunway University & Rakan Tutor, and supported by Kementerian Pendidikan Malaysia (KPM). Students will be challenged across five tracks: • AI Engineering (NEW) — Design AI solutions to solve real-world physical challenges • AI Architecture (NEW) — Reimagine learning spaces that prioritise technology, flexibility, and human comfort • AI Computing — Train an AI model to analyse medical images, handling real-world noise and data variability • AI Generated Arts — Produce a 1-3 minute video with AI imagery to tell a compelling story • AI Innovation — Build Generative AI apps that solve problems based on UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) Categories: • Category A: Year 10/Form 4 to Year 11/Form 5; Senior Middle 1-2 • Category B: Pre-University, UEC, STPM, Diploma Teams of 4 students.
